• Professor emeritus at MINES ParisTech

• Head of the research group on "Crystallization and Structural Studies of Polymers" at the Centre de Mise en Forme des Matériaux de l'Ecole des Mines de Paris (Material Forming Center) (1974-2006)

• Scientific Adviser of CEMEF

• International Representative of the Polymer Processing Society (since 1993)

• President of ESAFORM (European Scientific Association for Material Forming) (2000-2004)

Main scientific interests in polymer physics

- Kinetics of polymer crystallization (nucleation, growth, overall kinetics) and subsequent morphologies

- Structure development during polymer processing
